How to Contact Uber Customer Service Via the Mobile App?

The first and foremost way to contact Uber is via the mobile app. Yes, the mobile app has a built-in feature that allows both drivers and riders to contact Uber directly. This works for both Android and iPhone phones.

Here’s how to contact Uber via the mobile app:

For drivers

  • Open the Uber mobile app on your device
  • Tap the menu button (the button that looks like three straight lines)
  • Find the Help option, tap it
  • In the Help menu, scroll down and you should see “Call us”
  • Tap when you want to contact Uber for support

For riders

  • Tap the option that you want to contact the company about

How to Contact Via Uber Greenlight Hub?

This is among the best ways to contact Uber. Uber has many Greenlight hubs. In the U.S., there are over 150 of them.

The best thing about Uber Greenlight hub is that there is no need to make an appointment to interact in person with an Uber customer support. Not to mention you can just stop by a hub during working hours any time you want.

The question is, is there a hub in your city?

If you don’t know any, here’s how to check the closest hub in your area:

  • Open your web browser and go to help.uber.com
  • Uber’s website should know of the city where you are now. How can you know this? Look at the top right of the page. You should see the name of the city on it. In case it doesn’t or is incorrect, click it and enter the city where you are now
  • Next, go to the dropdown menu on the left Click and choose Partner
  • Click the search box, type “Greenlight” and press enter
  • You will then see the search result. You should see “Getting in—person…support help”
  • Click and you should see the closest hub in your city

Contact Uber Via Social Media

The third alternative is to contact Uber via social media. Nowadays most companies can be contacted via social media like Facebook and Twitter.

Not all of them are responsive, of course. Fortunately, Uber is among the most responsive ones so you might want to try contacting the company when you need support.

  • Find Uber on Facebook, just go to the company’s official Facebook page and write a public post in it
  • To reach out to Uber via Twitter, just tweet and mention the company’s Twitter account (@Uber_Support). To make it easier for the company’s representative to respond, keep the message clear and succinct.
